Chassis demands visual attention with its bold, geometric certainty. Created by Device, this display typeface merges substantial weight with architectural precision and an unconventional treatment of letterforms.

The defining characteristic is how negative space works within each letterform. Sharp lines cut deliberately into the counters, creating distinct cutaway sections that give the typeface an unusual visual rhythm and almost mechanical appearance. This technique sets Chassis apart from standard geometric sans-serifs, lending it a constructed, modular quality that feels deliberate rather than decorative. The typeface excels in luxury brand identity systems where every design choice communicates premium positioning, album cover typography where visual impact drives recognition, boutique restaurant menus that demand personality, and angular geometric posters where letterforms themselves become sculptural focal points. Whether displayed as a headline or featured in logo mark variations, its substantial weight ensures immediate visibility and impact.

For extended text alongside Chassis, consider pairing it with a refined serif font that echoes the structured feeling without competing for attention. The contrast between geometric boldness and classic elegance creates natural visual hierarchy and gives readers a natural stopping point.
