Cafe Brasil by Sofia Mohr is a display typeface drawn from the silhouette of a coffee bean, bringing visual warmth to branding work that lives in the specialty coffee space. The letterforms carry refined details and ligature pairs that echo the textures of crema, steam wisps, and the oils that rise to the surface of a fresh pour.

This typeface works brilliantly for roastery identities and café storefront signage where you need type that feels authentic to coffee culture rather than generic. It performs equally well on menu boards for independent espresso bars, packaging for direct-to-consumer coffee brands, and promotional graphics for farmers market stalls. The design captures something familiar about the commodity itself while staying readable enough for practical use across layouts. You'll find it particularly useful when lettering label text for specialty coffee bags or crafting social media graphics that need personality without seeming forced.

Recognized for the main exhibition at Tipos Latinos 2014, this typeface speaks to its craft and thoughtful execution. Use it to develop a complete visual system around a boutique roaster or as a striking focal point for a limited edition blend release.
