Black Ground by Letterhend Studio is a brush typeface with commanding presence and substantial weight. The strong letterforms make it an immediate choice for logo design, especially when you need typographic impact without sacrificing legibility. It shines on wedding invitation suites, luxury cosmetics branding, high-end product packaging, and fashion-forward branding systems where personality and polish work together.

The font includes uppercase and lowercase letterforms with multiple alternates, numerals, punctuation, and ligature variations. Built with PUA encoding and OpenType features in mind, you'll access the full character set through design software like Adobe Creative Suite or CorelDraw that supports glyph panel tools. The multilingual support means you can apply this typeface across different language projects without hunting for alternatives.

On editorial layouts, Black Ground holds its own as a headline font that commands attention. The brush character feels organic without losing authority, making it equally comfortable in luxury packaging design where the typeface itself becomes part of the visual story. Artisanal product labels, boutique beauty branding, and display-heavy layouts all benefit from the distinctive weight and personality here. If you're looking for a display face that does logo work, packaging, and editorial equally well, this belongs in your type toolkit. Get Black Ground on Creative Fabrica.
