Best School Outline is a display typeface with a cartoon sensibility, designed by Kelik and Situjuh Nazara at 7NTypes. With 227 glyphs supporting over 217 Latin-based languages, it brings playful, outlined letterforms to any project where warmth and approachability genuinely matter. The outline treatment creates an inherently hand-drawn quality that signals friendliness and charm without sacrificing legibility across different sizes and contexts.

The typeface excels when distinctive personality matters more than formal restraint. Children's educational materials, greeting card suites, and classroom announcement posters all benefit immediately from its cartoon character and distinctive outline style. Etsy shop banners and Cricut craft projects gain an inviting, maker-focused sensibility when set in this typeface. Scrapbooking layouts, comic-style lettering, and social media graphics for creative brands also showcase its particular strengths, especially when designs target younger audiences or need to convey a lighthearted, engaging, and memorable tone.

The font is available free for personal use, with commercial licensing available directly from the designer. Select Best School Outline when your project needs lettering that communicates both accessibility and genuine playfulness while maintaining solid readability at various sizes and across different print or digital applications and contexts.
