You're laying out a vintage-inspired wedding invitation suite and need lettering that feels warm, established, and genuinely sophisticated. Astoria, designed by jinanstd, is a display typeface that channels that quiet confidence without strain. The uppercase letters include alternates built in, letting you break up repetition naturally and keeping the texture alive across longer passages. This helps avoid the stiffness that often creeps into formal scripts when you're repeating the same letter shape.

This typeface thrives on boutique product packaging, holiday greeting cards, festive sticker designs, and artisanal cake box labels where a hint of nostalgia reads as intentional and thoughtful rather than forced. It's equally suited to branding work for independent shops, restaurants, or makers who want their identity to feel anchored in something deeper than the moment's trend. The texture remains legible at large sizes and holds together at text-adjacent dimensions, which matters when you're fitting it into real-world applications like product packaging or Instagram graphics. The alternates aren't decorative: they're a working tool that changes how the font behaves across the whole design.

Pick it up from Creative Fabrica and you'll find a display face that works harder than it looks.
