This playful typeface hits that sweet spot between spooky and silly without feeling mean-spirited. Wicked Stories, designed by Dreamink, is a chunky display font that brings Halloween cheer to projects without veering into genuinely frightening territory. The rounded, bubble-like letterforms have a hand-drawn quality that gives designs a friendly, craft-made personality that reads as personal and thoughtful.

The font works beautifully for Halloween party invitations, DIY trick-or-treat sign designs, and vintage-style spooky poster art. Kids' costume label tags, sublimation projects for holiday apparel, and seasonal product packaging for small makers all benefit from its playful energy and bold presence. The thick strokes hold clarity at any scale, from large poster boards down to small label tags, so you can use it confidently across different project sizes. Whether you're designing something serious or silly, the letterforms stay legible and genuinely fun to work with.

Pair Wicked Stories with a clean, minimal sans-serif like Open Sans or Futura to balance the font's boldness and keep supporting text readable. The contrast lets the playful display type anchor headlines while the sans-serif handles body copy clearly. Find Wicked Stories on Creative Fabrica to add that approachable Halloween spirit to your autumn seasonal work and holiday crafts.
