Slogan feels like industrial typography caught in a moment of becoming something else entirely. This display font by Mateusz Machalski draws inspiration from vintage geometric alphabets, particularly typefaces like Blok and Rex, that gradually lost their precision through years of printing and daily handling. What emerges is a typeface that wears its imperfections like earned marks: ink traps, softened edges, and subtle irregularities that give it unmistakable character and genuine warmth.

The design breaks traditional conventions with genuine purpose. Its weight and width axes work in tandem, so bolder cuts naturally expand the letterforms while lighter weights become more compact. This unconventional relationship creates built-in typographic contrast without needing multiple font families layered together. Slogan ships with five distinct styles, all ready for bold headlines on wine labels, indie record covers, gallery announcements, and bespoke craft packaging where personality matters far more than slick perfection. The variations let you build strong visual hierarchies that feel intentional and alive.

The typeface's strength comes directly from its production process rather than decoration or embellishment. Pair it with a clean sans-serif for setting body text, allowing Slogan to do the typographic heavy lifting in your headlines and key visual moments. You'll find it on Creative Fabrica.
