The GT ShowCard Collection includes 4 vintage type designs popularized in the mid 1940s. James Eisenberg proclaimed Show Card lettering and display had fully established itself in 1945 as a “definite branch of the Commercial Art industry”. He goes on to say “The ability to do good freehand lettering is a definite asset to any worker in fields such as teaching, selling, engineering, drafting, architecture, commercial art, or window display.”
