Bold typographic presence with genuine warmth: this is PODIUM Soft by MACHALSKI. The display typeface draws directly from the designer's deep exploration of vintage Polish woodtype specimens, particularly the geometric and modular characters found in historic type collections like Rex, Blok, and Bacarat from the early 20th century. It captures that raw mechanical energy of pressed metal types while introducing softer, more approachable proportions that make the whole thing feel contemporary rather than purely nostalgic.

The full family encompasses thirteen distinct widths, stretching from ultra-compressed to extra-expanded proportions. This unusual range opens up specific possibilities: visual identity systems that need strong typographic hierarchy across multiple applications, experimental tech and software company branding where extreme letterform variations communicate innovation, music and entertainment posters that demand visual impact from across a crowded room, and boutique product packaging where distinctive letterforms become part of the brand story itself. Every width holds its ground while maintaining readability and consistent character throughout the range.

Pair this display face with a clean, neutral sans-serif for running text and body copy, letting PODIUM Soft carry the visual weight in headlines and key focal points. The contrast between geometric warmth and minimalist simplicity creates natural, compelling visual hierarchy. You'll find PODIUM Soft ready to download on Creative Fabrica.
