Outside the Line's New Orlean Doodles is a dingbats collection built on the visual language of NOLA, capturing celebration and regional character through 40 hand-drawn illustrations. The set layers cultural touchstones (the iconic pelican, paddle wheel steamboats, historic street trolleys, ornate Creole buildings) with universal symbols of revelry: musical instruments, dancing figures, and festive beverages. Together, these elements create something that reads as distinctly New Orleans while remaining accessible to anyone planning a party or creating event materials with local character.

The collection covers genuine ground. You'll find the expected parade floats and Mardi Gras masks, sure, but also food imagery that speaks to NOLA's culinary identity, architectural details that give work authentic texture, and a hand-lettered "New Orleans" wordmark that works as a title or accent. Use this for jazz festival posters, Mardi Gras party invitations, Etsy product labels for regional food or craft items, and DIY Carnival signage and tableware. The mix of ornamental and figurative elements offers real utility without feeling theme-park generic.

This font belongs in the hands of designers and makers who want to reference a specific place and culture with warmth and personality, creating work that feels rooted in something real. Find New Orlean Doodles on Creative Fabrica.
