Malakam is a display font designed by EdricStudio that blends brutalist severity with intricate ornamentation. The letterforms carry a menacing quality, built from angular shapes yet detailed with unexpected flourishes that give the font both shock value and visual depth. This isn't a one-note spook typeface; the high contrast between thick and thin strokes, refined curves, and distinctive serifs combine to make each letter feel sculpted and intentional.

The raw strength of Malakam works brilliantly for horror movie posters, film festival materials, and game design that needs to unsettle. Halloween party invitations, haunted house signage, and spooky social media graphics all benefit from its ability to command attention without sacrificing legibility. It's equally at home on packaging for horror-themed restaurants and pop-up events, or as the lead typeface in comic book layouts where the grotesque letterforms enhance the narrative. Graphic designers working on shock-value advertising and high-concept editorial spreads find that Malakam delivers presence without leaning on trendy gimmicks.

This font suits brands and projects that want their audience to feel something visceral. It's particularly strong for creators working on print, digital, and craft applications where spooky aesthetics matter. Find Malakam on Creative Fabrica and add a typeface with genuine personality to your toolkit.
