You're designing educational materials for kids with different learning needs: a poster set, an educational board book, or perhaps inclusive branding that welcomes everyone. Lexie, designed by K-Type, starts from a genuine principle: readability built into every single character. This typeface borrows the warmth and genuine friendliness of Comic Sans but leaves the cartoon associations behind, instead offering a decorative form that actually works well for your eyes and brain.

The asymmetrical b and d, combined with the handwritten personality of the a and g, create visual anchors that help all readers (especially those with dyslexia) move smoothly through text without losing their place. These qualities shine especially in classroom posters, children's board books, accessible packaging design, and inclusive branding work. It reads like a friendly companion rather than a novelty, substantial enough for real editorial use yet playful enough to feel genuinely warm.

The typeface includes a complete Latin Extended-A character set, which gives you considerable range and flexibility across different languages and many cultural contexts. For sharpness and consistency at any size, the outlines have been refined, keeping letters clean from small product labels to oversized classroom displays. Grab Lexie from Creative Fabrica and get a typeface that takes genuine care with how people actually read.
