This is a font born from genuine environmental concern. Econs, designed by Tour de Force Font Foundry, contains 52 ecological symbols created after the designer spent a day fishing in their local river and witnessed the troubling volume of garbage and waste collecting in the water.

The icons excel in environmental nonprofit annual reports and sustainability-focused infographics where you need authentic, immediately recognizable symbols that avoid generic clip-art aesthetics. They work beautifully for eco-conscious brand packaging, within conservation organization materials, and throughout waste reduction educational content and campaigns. Each of the 52 glyphs tells a small visual story: a discarded can, a grass blade, a sturdy tree, a water droplet, and a hand shovel all carry narrative weight and communicate their meaning without requiring explanation. The symbol set maintains visual unity throughout, balancing detailed illustration with legibility and recognizability at any scale or application.

Because these icons carry substantial conceptual weight, they pair best with a straightforward, neutral sans-serif for any accompanying text or callouts. This approach keeps the visual hierarchy readable and prevents the overall design from becoming overwhelming or dense.
