This serif carries genuine polish and an editorial sensibility that commands attention on the page. Cornella, designed by Slex Studio, merges classical letterform proportions with a distinctly contemporary edge that proves equally at home across both print and digital applications.

The typeface finds its stride in luxury fashion editorials, high-end wedding invitation suites, boutique cosmetics packaging, and magazine cover typography. Its regular weight establishes a confident baseline for body-size display work, while the accompanying italic variant introduces visual momentum and emphasis without tipping into theatricality. The carefully balanced letterforms and refined stroke contrast create a visual presence that works equally well anchoring a dramatic headline or embedded at smaller display sizes within layouts that demand both sophistication and distinctive character.

What makes Cornella genuinely work is its restraint. The curves themselves resist showiness, the serifs avoid unnecessary exaggeration, yet the overall personality remains unmistakably distinctive and expressive when you need it to be. Pair it alongside a clean, neutral sans-serif for body text and supporting editorial content to create a pairing that feels both authoritative and genuinely accessible to readers.
