Component, designed by K-Type, trades grid-based geometry for something unexpectedly human. The condensed letterforms read like fragments of encoded data, evoking the systematic patterns of QR codes and Aztec barcodes, yet they feel almost ritualistic in their arrangement, as if drawn by a forgotten civilization that understood technology centuries before we did. That tension between mechanism and mystery is what makes it work.

This book-weight typeface sits at the intersection of structure and story. Use it for tech startup branding that needs to feel forward-thinking without abandoning personality, experimental poster layouts where data becomes art, album artwork for electronic and experimental music, or museum exhibit signage that celebrates both precision and wonder. The letterforms maintain their deliberate geometry at display sizes and in body text alike. A complementary italic rounds out the toolkit, giving you flexibility across layouts.

Component suits designers who want their work to signal intelligence and intrigue, especially those creating visual language for brands or projects rooted in technology, science, or artistic experimentation. Grab it from Creative Fabrica and start exploring what happens when you let logic and meaning dance together.
