This typeface pulses with the spirited energy that defined golden-age comic book lettering. Collector Comic Pro, designed by Canada Type, blends two distinct eras of hand-lettering into one unified typeface that gives you multiple creative directions.

The split is intentional: uppercase draws from Silver and Bronze Age comics of the mid-twentieth century, while lowercase channels the looser, more energetic Modern Age style. This dual nature lets you layer both retro authenticity and contemporary flair within a single word or composition. It shines in comic book balloons and speech bubbles, of course, but works equally well for vintage movie poster designs, hand-drawn comic strip headers, retro greeting card layouts, and indie comic cover lettering. The letterforms carry all the vibrant energy of hand-lettered work without any of the raggedness or imperfection, so you can scale them to large display sizes without hesitation.

Two weights plus matching italics come in all standard formats. The complete character sets include accented glyphs for international language support. Pair this with a crisp, minimal sans-serif for supporting text if you want to balance its strong personality and visual presence. Creative Fabrica has it ready whenever you need to add authentic comic book character to your designs.
