Unic Pro by SoftMaker is a bold, script-inflected display typeface that channels Art Nouveau energy with a distinctly retro edge. This upright semi-serif occupies that fascinating middle ground between decorative and strictly functional, which is exactly what made it stand out in 1980 and what keeps designers reaching for it today. While Helvetica and Univers had already dominated the landscape by then, experimental faces like Unic Pro offered genuine alternative paths for designers who wanted personality and character in their headline work.

The typeface still delivers on that promise with plenty of force. Its dynamic letterforms read with real punch and presence at large sizes, making it especially ideal for album cover designs, vintage liquor and spirits labels, and theatrical event posters. The bold weight carries genuine authority while retaining warmth underneath, so it works equally well for boutique cosmetics branding, art deco wedding invitation suites, or film and concert promotion materials. Built in OpenType format with Central European language support, Unic Pro adapts across different character sets and holds its power across all scales, from bold headlines to full brand systems.
