About Trowel Font

Among the many strange attempts to conceal writing, this system allegedly used by the Masons has a wonderful simplicity and ease of use.

This Free Mason cipher, (also called the Pigpen cipher) is a simple replacement cipher and does not on its own offer very great security, but would certainly ensure the casual observer would not be able to read documents written in such a script.

Note the Majuscules and minuscules are slightly different in that the dots are centered in the one and offset in the other. For a slightly different encoding see also PLTF’s product Swine and Roses which also includes the Rosicrucian system.
