You're laying out a Halloween party invitation and need something with just enough attitude to make grown-ups smile while kids actually want to attend. Them Bones, designed by Wingsart Studio, delivers exactly that through hand-drawn skeleton and pirate imagery that captures the spirit of vintage horror comics, spooky cartoons, and campfire tale aesthetics. This all-caps typeface works for actual projects, not just concept mockups where you need personality and distinctive character in your layouts.

The font comes in two complete versions: one styled to look like aged bones with visible hand-drawn imperfections, and another streamlined variant that holds its own in any design context. Both include outlined counterparts that add depth and texture while keeping that sketchy, inky quality intact. This built-in flexibility shines when you're working on pirate adventure book covers, Halloween party invitations, spooky greeting cards, or vintage-style game graphics and assets. The hand-drawn nature means it reads distinctly even at smaller sizes, though it really performs when you can let it breathe at larger display scales.

With multiple versions at your disposal, you're not locked into one look when you need variety or contrast within a single project. The bones-styled version brings textural richness, while the cleaner alternative gives you breathing room. Grab Them Bones on Creative Fabrica and bring some well-crafted, hand-drawn character to work that demands genuine personality.
