Terpentijn (Dutch for turpentine, which you can actually pronounce if you try) is Hanoded's handmade dingbat collection built entirely on the principle that imperfection is a feature, not a bug. The letterforms are rough and uneven by design, carrying that worn, eroded aesthetic that makes work feel authentically textured instead of digitally sterile. Every wobble and inconsistency is deliberate, giving designs that tactile hand-crafted quality that polished typefaces simply cannot replicate.

The typeface comes in both regular and inline versions, which means you can layer and combine them for more complex visual effects. There's also a companion shapes pack that extends possibilities beyond standard characters, adding decorative elements that amplify the overall impact. Vintage poster designs, grungy overlays for photography, custom tattoo flash sheets, and hand-stamped small-batch product labels all benefit from this eroded character work. The textured quality reads intentional in every context. Terpentijn supports multiple languages as well, so you won't hit character limitations when working across different regions.

Designers creating band artwork, craft stationery, DIY home goods, or any project where handmade aesthetic matters more than perfection will find real value here. The roughness is exactly the point. Access Terpentijn on Creative Fabrica and start incorporating those textured letterforms into your work.
