Picture a greeting card company working on a holiday collection, or a small stationery brand designing its first packaging. Sunbird is the rounded, playful font by Hanoded that brings instant warmth to work like that. It's cartoonish without being juvenile, cheerful without feeling cloying. The typeface comes in three weights (regular, medium, and black), each with its own italic companion, so you can dial the personality up or down depending on what you're setting.

Sunbird shines wherever friendliness reads as a feature: children's book covers, greeting card suites, playful sticker designs, and artisanal food brand packaging all benefit from its open, approachable letterforms. The real gift is that it works at display sizes but also reads cleanly in short text runs. That's harder to pull off than it sounds for decorative faces. Many fun typefaces break down at small sizes or in longer passages, but Sunbird keeps its charm while staying legible.

The medium weight strikes the best balance if you want presence without heaviness, and reaching for the italics adds subtle movement that lifts single-line designs. Since all three weights include italic variants, you have plenty of room to compose with contrast. Grab Sunbird on Creative Fabrica and add it to the rotation for your next project that needs a little extra brightness.
