Squirty has that raw, uninhibited hand-painted energy that makes you look twice. Created by Typodermic Fonts Inc., this decorative typeface channels the visual excitement of vintage Japanese nightclub promotions, where personality and deliberate chaos were treated as core design features.

This typeface is built for work that refuses to play things safe. Retro event posters, indie band album covers, vintage diner signage and menus, DIY craft product labels, and experimental zine spreads are exactly where Squirty lives. The hand-drawn letterforms are almost imperfect in the best possible way, with each character carrying a slight irregularity that keeps everything feeling lively and handmade rather than corporate or stiff. Pair it with a calm, geometric sans-serif for any body copy you need, and you'll get a contrast that actually reads with real impact. When OpenType features are available, the ligatures do interesting work: they automatically vary letters and numerals so repeated characters stay visually fresh and avoid that mechanical feel that kills decorative typefaces. Language support extends across Latin-based European scripts, Cyrillic, Greek, and Vietnamese, making this considerably more versatile for international and multilingual projects than many decorative typefaces in its category.

Squirty is available on Creative Fabrica whenever you're ready to bring personality back into your headlines.
