The geometric sans-serif Squick, by designer Rodrigo Typo, spans nine weight variants where proportions and visual logic hold steady from Thin through Dense. Shifting through the weights feels natural, so jumping from Light to Bold never jars the eye.

This kind of weight breadth matters most when you're building cohesive visual systems that need to communicate hierarchy without introducing new typefaces. The consistency across weights makes Squick particularly strong for brand guidelines where you want flexibility without visual fragmentation. Product packaging labels benefit from having both refined lighter weights and the impact of the heavier cuts. Event invitations and stationery suites can establish sophistication at smaller sizes while declaring impact at larger scales. Restaurant menus and hospitality branding often need this exact combination: elegance paired with the punch to grab attention.

Design disciplines that require structural integrity across weight variations will find a reliable partner in Squick. Label systems for artisanal goods, navigation hierarchies for digital products, poster series for events: these all demand a typeface that stays coherent without looking disjointed. That structural discipline is what separates thoughtful typeface design from typeface bloat. Pick it up from Creative Fabrica when you need serious typographic range in a single family.
