Shortage by Inermedia STUDIO is a display typeface with decorative letterforms that lean into festive charm. Its whimsical character and playful details make it work across multiple seasons, from Christmas to Halloween to 4th of July celebrations. The design balances visual interest without becoming illegible, so you can confidently use it on custom greeting cards, holiday gift tags, and festive product packaging labels. The font comes PUA encoded, giving you access to an expanded character set and custom ligatures that let you fine-tune exactly the look you want.

This typeface fits projects where personality matters more than neutrality. Holiday invitations, seasonal social media graphics, and event-themed merchandise labels all benefit from Shortage's distinctive presence. Small business owners creating limited-edition holiday collections or launching seasonal product lines will find real utility in its decorative approach. When you're building a cohesive brand for a holiday product launch or just spicing up a personal craft project, the font's versatility across different months keeps it useful year-round. Shortage works best for designers and makers who want a display font that reads as intentional and memorable without overwhelming the layout.
