Serena from Minimalistartstudio is a slab serif that brings authentic 70s sensibility to contemporary design without feeling like pure retro pastiche or a shallow homage. The thick, geometric serifs and steady stroke weight give it real presence, while the proportions stay refined enough to feel intentional rather than heavy-handed.

This typeface shines when a design needs authority mixed with warmth, making it surprisingly versatile across unexpected applications. Wedding invitation suites gain genuine sophistication with Serena at the helm, especially for couples drawn to vintage-leaning aesthetics. Luxury packaging design sees an immediate perceived value boost, whether for artisan candles, craft skincare, or small-batch goods. Magazine covers and editorial spreads benefit from the weight and legibility, while boutique brand identities like vintage-inspired coffee roasters or upscale secondhand shops find their visual anchor here. You'll also find it works beautifully for DIY vinyl projects and Etsy product labels where you want to signal quality over volume.

Multiple weights and solid glyph coverage give you real flexibility across display roles and supporting typographic work alike. If you're designing editorial projects, building upscale branding systems, or working in that refined vintage aesthetic territory, Serena definitely belongs on your working list. You'll find it on Creative Fabrica.
