This dingbat set radiates vintage charm and hand-drawn personality. Retro People, created by vladimirnikolic, is a collection of character illustrations that feel like they've been lifted straight from a 1950s design archive. The figures have genuine warmth: quirky proportions, expressive poses, and the kind of artisanal detail you'd find in mid-century editorial work. Clustered together or scattered as accents, they bring instant character to any layout that needs nostalgia without feeling gimmicky.

The real strength of Retro People lies in its specificity. It works beautifully for vintage postcard designs, retro greeting card suites, mid-century poster layouts, and packaging for artisanal goods that embrace a nostalgic aesthetic. You can use these characters as borders, headers, or standalone focal points. The hand-drawn quality means they pair especially well with organic photography and warm color palettes. Combine Retro People with a clean, neutral sans-serif for body copy, which creates nice contrast and keeps the design breathing. The interplay between the playful characters and disciplined typography gives your work a sophisticated edge while maintaining that vintage soul.

The hard part is finding the right dingbat. Retro People is available on Creative Fabrica, ready to add vintage warmth and playfulness to whatever you're designing.
