Picture yourself designing a vintage concert poster, a retro apothecary label, or a heritage brand identity that demands authentic period presence and weight. Rama Gothic C, from Dharma Type, captures that genuine 19th-century wood-type aesthetic without leaning too heavily into irony or pastiche. This condensed sans serif brings real character through its weathered letterforms and substantial visual impact, working exactly as a period display face should.

The 18-style family offers real flexibility across vintage theater posters, antique book jackets, heritage brand identities, and retro festival flyers and promotional materials. Each glyph carries the aged quality of period wood type, with letterforms that whisper history rather than shout it. You also receive the free Gothic Extras companion set, which adds decorative borders, ornaments, and frames sourced directly from 1800s Hamilton catalogs. That means you can assemble fully period-accurate design materials without hunting elsewhere for complementary decorative pieces.

The alternate 'r' glyph, accessible through OpenType alternates, gives you typographic control when a standard letterform doesn't quite fit your design direction. At large display sizes, this face commands genuine authority and carries real substance on the page. Grab Rama Gothic C on Creative Fabrica and bring authentic vintage character to your next project.
