PINTANINA FAMILY by Rodrigo Typo is a condensed display typeface born from comic book lettering. Rooted in the bold, expressive headlines of classic Condorito comics, this decorative family channels that same confident punch and visual energy. What began as an experimental design in 2013 has evolved into a full-fledged collection built for impact, with five weights ranging from Thin through Black, plus integrated dingbats that double as typographic ornaments.

The typeface shines in applications where you need personality and visual drama. Comic book cover lettering, retro-style posters, vintage merchandise labels, and bold newspaper-style headers all benefit from Pintanina's generous letterforms and condensed proportions. Ligatures and alternate characters built into the design let you customize looks within a single project, while solid Cyrillic support widens your reach across different markets. The embedded dingbats function as ready-made design elements, eliminating the hunt for complementary graphics.

Pintanina works best when you're sizing it large and letting its boldness fill the space. Graphic novel covers, cartoonish branding, and eye-catching event signage all gain visual authority from these condensed, weighty letterforms. The five-weight range gives you real hierarchy options without needing to swap fonts. Grab the family on Creative Fabrica to unlock these weights and alternates for your next big headline project.
