Orkney Pro by SoftMaker is a bold display typeface that captures the spirited energy of 1970s graphic design. The typeface immediately commands attention with its distinctive circular strokes and oversized capitals that extend well below the baseline, creating an unmistakable retro impact. These lowercase letters sit remarkably tight with minimal white space between them, giving Orkney Pro a solid, graphic presence that demands to be used large and loud. There's no subtlety here, just confident, eye-catching letterforms designed exclusively for headlines.

This is where Orkney Pro truly excels: vintage album covers that need authentic disco-era flair, funky event posters and concert promotions with genuine 1970s character, retro product packaging for brands embracing that nostalgic groove, and eye-catching social media headers built to stop the scroll. You'll find it equally effective on custom signage, vintage advertisement layouts, and any project where that confident retro energy is the entire point of the design. Because the typeface relies on its bold structure and rhythmic spacing to create impact, set it at substantial point sizes so each letterform commands the full space it deserves.

If your next headline project needs that vintage energy and retro confidence, download Orkney Pro on Creative Fabrica and bring some authentic 1970s attitude to your work.
