Nerybats is a symbol font built with hand-drawn character, delivering that tactile, vintage quality that brings warmth to contemporary work. Designed by Chris MacGregor and distributed by MINDCANDY, this dingbat collection harks back to 1996 when ornamental marks were still drawn with genuine care.

The glyph set reveals its worth across several design applications. Wedding invitation designers reach for symbol fonts like this to create decorative dividers that separate passages of text without falling flat. Craft sellers building Etsy shop listings add these marks directly to product photography and packaging mockups, lending authenticity to handmade branding. Print work benefits too: event programs, magazine mastheads, and invitation suites all gain visual punctuation from a thoughtful dingbat set. Web designers sometimes layer these as custom bullets or navigation breaks in dense layouts, giving the page personality without needing external icon libraries.

What makes Nerybats particularly useful is its retro identity, which anchors projects with vintage or nostalgic positioning. Having a complete symbol set on hand means flexibility: you're not patching together elements from multiple sources or settling for generic ornaments.
