A metal band's tour poster is taking shape, and the band name needs to cut through black ink with force and definition. BB Type Studios created Necromancer Exorcist as a dual-style font, each variant designed for a specific visual moment. Necromancer emerges first, a serrated display typeface rooted in black metal aesthetics with sharp, symmetrical serifs that feel both ancient and aggressive.

This is the font for tour posters, album artwork, and band merchandise where lettering needs to land hard. Its Exorcist companion takes a different approach, handwritten and frenetic with raw brushstrokes that feel like ritual interrupted by chaos. Together they create the visual tension that works for song titles, heavy metal record sleeves, gothic event signage, and concert program booklets. You get flexibility when layering loose letterforms from the Exorcist style over the structured, geometric weight of the base typeface, which matters when you're building complex compositions.

What keeps this duo functional is how cleanly Necromancer reads even at huge display sizes, while Exorcist stays expressive without collapsing into a blur. For musicians, bands, and designers working in metal, dark rock, and gothic design, both styles offer something you actually need. Grab it from Creative Fabrica and you've got each one ready to use.
