Nat Pictures is a two-part pictorial dingbat font designed by Natalia Vasilyeva that combines geometric symbols with nature and domestic imagery in a single file. The first set handles the abstract side with arrows, clean geometric figures, and line-based marks meant to convey information visually. The second contains bird and fish species, insects, plants, and everyday household objects spanning kitchenware and tools.

Where this font shines is in projects that rely on symbols for visual communication. Infographic layouts benefit immediately from the geometric set's crisp lines and directional indicators, while environmental packaging designs draw from the nature imagery for visual interest. You'll find these symbols work naturally in kraft paper product tags, scrapbooking embellishment collections, and nature-themed greeting card suites. The hand-drawn quality keeps everything readable and approachable without feeling overworked or fussy. It maintains character at small sizes while staying visually distinct at larger scales.

Designed by ParaType in 2009, Nat Pictures works well for designers building eco-conscious brand identities, field guide layouts, or educational worksheet templates where pictorial elements carry meaning. Instead of assembling multiple icon library subscriptions, you have both abstract and representational symbols within one typeface. If your design language depends on visual symbol communication, add this dingbat collection to your toolkit. Get it on Creative Fabrica.
