You're laying out an elegant wedding invitation, and you need ornaments that feel both vintage and genuinely refined. Medallion Ornaments, designed by Gerald Gallo Fonts, is a collection of 185 circular dingbats drawn from historical design archives. Each character blends botanical motifs, zoological elements, geometric patterns, and decorative flourishes into medallion-sized symbols you can use as standalone graphics or repeating frame elements.

The font hits its stride in specific applications: vintage certificate designs with ornamental borders, botanical illustration frames for nature publishing, scrapbooking embellishments for mixed-media layouts, and heraldic badge graphics for formal or historical branding. These aren't generic fills; they're carefully proportioned ornaments that maintain clarity whether scaled large or clustered tight as background texture. Positioned in borders, corners, or spot placements, each medallion stays clean and self-contained. Because Gallo sourced these from historical precedent, they carry authentic period weight without sliding into the nostalgia trap.
