This connected script typeface captures the fluidity of hand-brushed lettering, with smooth connections that maintain rhythm and readability without looking overwrought or too rigid. Lemongrass Script, designed by Nova Type Foundry, takes visual cues from Portuguese coastal winds and maritime movement, creating low-contrast strokes that feel both energetic and refined in equal measure.

The font includes an extensive set of ligatures, swashes, and alternate letterforms for customizing your work without sacrificing visual cohesion across your brand. Support for Western European languages expands its usefulness across different markets and regions, while a companion Caps style provides tighter, more structured moments when you need a different feel. Restaurant menu headers and wine labels benefit from its distinctive voice, as do luxury brand identities, handwritten-style product labels, cosmetics packaging, and bespoke wedding invitation suites.

It performs as well running through a headline as it does in smaller sizes, showing the genuine thoughtfulness and care that went into its design throughout every detail. This script suits designers and brands prioritizing personality alongside sophistication: boutique e-commerce storefronts, artisanal packaging projects, fashion brand identities, and cohesive visual systems that need a typeface feeling genuinely crafted and considered rather than generic. Lemongrass Script is available on Creative Fabrica.
