HIGH TEA, designed by Hanoded, is a handmade typeface rooted in early-twentieth-century sophistication. The letterforms carry the geometric refinement of 1930s menu design, with distinctive character shapes that feel both playful and genuinely refined. Each letter has been crafted with deliberate quirks, keeping it from feeling stiff while preserving that upper-class sensibility you'd find on 1930s restaurant menus.

This typeface works best when given breathing room and prominence in layout. Wedding invitation suites benefit from its nostalgic authority, especially when you're designing for clients drawn to Art Deco glamour and retro aesthetics. Cocktail menu design feels natural here, as does luxury packaging for artisanal goods and boutique brands. Event posters for speakeasy-themed gatherings or upscale dining venues showcase its strengths well. The character distinctiveness means even short text runs retain visual interest. Single-use pieces like custom wine labels and invitation cards all read with genuine authority.

HIGH TEA serves typographers and designers building cohesive retro brand systems where every element needs to whisper rather than shout. It's particularly strong for projects that balance nostalgia with refined elegance, steering clear of kitsch. Download it from Creative Fabrica and add it to your library of display faces that actually deliver on the promise of craft.
