Happy Smile by Sontaya is a playful dingbat collection built for cheerful, hand-drawn character work and decorative elements. The set includes cartoon-style smiley faces and whimsical doodles that bring instant personality to any project, from digital designs to print production. It's available in both OTF and TTF formats, plus native versions for Procreate and Affinity apps, so you can work however feels most natural for your workflow.

You'll find these characters work particularly well for kids' birthday party invitations, printable sticker sheets, custom gift tag designs, and scrapbook page layouts. The rounded, friendly style reads well at any size, making it just as useful for a small journal decoration as it is for a large wall print. Designers often mix it with hand-lettered script fonts to create balance between playfulness and readable text. Many also use the set as the foundation for coloring books or printable activity sheets meant for young children.

The simple cartoon outlines make these characters ideal as a base layer for custom illustration or hand-painted projects. They're loose enough to inspire but structured enough to integrate with other design elements without feeling forced.
