You're designing a greeting card with retro vibes, and you need typography that feels genuinely handmade without requiring hours at the drawing board. GOOPS by Studio Funshop is a display typeface built on Y2K nostalgia, capturing that era's fun bubble-letter aesthetic with real texture underneath. The letterforms have an intentionally imperfect, gooey quality that reads as authentic rather than sterile, making every word look like it belongs in a scrapbook or on a vintage poster.

This font excels for small-batch product labels with vintage appeal, DIY celebration invitations, comic-style speech bubbles in illustrated work, and retro website headers and banners. You get two complete versions to choose from: the original style and a bouncier variant that adds extra movement and playfulness to your layout. The font includes alternates for each letter, multiplying your design options and reinforcing that made-by-hand feel without requiring manual lettering skills. Supporting uppercase letters, numerals, symbols, and punctuation marks, it covers all the basic elements you need for complete design projects.

The bouncy version truly comes alive at large display sizes, where the personality of each letter becomes the focal point. Grab GOOPS on Creative Fabrica and start experimenting with its retro charm on your next nostalgic project.
