About Gold Standard Font
Gold Standard got its start from a few letters found on an old Gold Certificate from 1882.
From those few letters spelling out the word GOLD, the rest of the alphabet was designed to match.
The lowercase design was based on lettering found on an old silver certificate from approximately the same year.
