1 / 5About Fabricated Lettering JNL Font
A 1959 catalog for F. T. Nelson’s Nelco Metalcraft, Inc. of Chicago listed numerous styles of letters they could fabricate for custom signage.
One design in particular was called Nelco Gothic (by 1964 they had renamed it Nelco Broadway) consisting of an Art Deco influenced thick-and-thin sans serif with chamfered corners.
Originally available only in a slanted (oblique) style, this type style has been redrawn digitally as Fabricated Lettering JNL and is available in both regular and oblique versions.
