This is a typeface that commands attention through sheer gothic intensity. Ethoris, designed by Burntilldead, brings ornate blackletter sensibility to horror and metal aesthetics with sharp spiky terminals and interlocking flourishes that feel ancient and menacing in equal measure. The design merges medieval weight with contemporary edge, making it equally at home in a historic manuscript or commanding a darkened concert poster.

Real-world applications span everything from deathcore band logos and black metal album artwork to horror movie banners and occult poster designs that need visual gravitas. Gothic book covers benefit from its dramatic presence, as do tattoo studio brands looking for visual authority and Halloween graphics demanding real impact. The typeface ships in Regular, Extrude, and Outline styles, with ligatures and alternates built in for composition flexibility and the kind of layering potential that makes decorative typefaces truly sing on display work.

Pair Ethoris with a clean, minimal sans serif for body text or supporting elements, allowing the ornate blackletter to remain your primary focal point without overwhelming the overall composition. The contrast between its maximum drama and typographic restraint elsewhere keeps layouts legible and intentional.
