Inspired by heavy metal logos, 1980s role-playing games, and maybe dragons and dusty, leather-bound books, Dragönsteel is our take on a modern-ish blackletter typeface. Guided by the way a broad nib pen would inform the letters—but taking liberties to add a bit of friendliness to an otherwise serious style of type.
We even made a dice word game—Vowels of Hell—to showcase the letters of the font.
Included are three styles: Regular, Rough, and Sharp. Uppercase, lowercase, numerals, accented characters for expanded language support, punctuation, plus a few alternate glyphs, ligatures, and three styles of capitals. Make something cool!
