Dorris by Creative Media Lab is a decorative serif with a playful personality, featuring soft, curly tails that give it both vintage charm and a surprisingly fresh edge. The family spans nine weights from thin to black, each with carefully crafted alternates and ornaments built in so you can layer complexity or strip things back depending on your creative direction.

This typeface has a natural home in nostalgic design projects that need genuine warmth and character. Retro ice cream shop menus and signage feel right, as do vintage concert posters, groovy 70s-inspired social media campaigns, and kitschy artisan product packaging where the typography carries the whole vibe. Wedding invitations benefit from its approachable energy when you want fun over formality. DIY craft labels, small-batch product stickers, and editorial spreads all gain real personality from its presence. The capitals especially shine for retro badge design or throwback branding that wants to feel intentional rather than slapped-together.

Dorris works across the major design platforms, and its character reads beautifully whether it's anchoring a minimalist layout or sharing space in a dense, pattern-heavy composition. Head to Creative Fabrica to download it and see what this versatile serif brings to your next project.
