This typeface family draws from 1970s geometric design, building letterforms that sit at the sweet spot between retro character and contemporary clarity. Dharma Type created Design System F as part of a comprehensive, modular type system offering 70 distinct styles, combining five weights with seven width variations and both upright and italic versions.

The sheer range means you can dial in exactly the proportions your design needs, whether you're working on a narrow, compact headline or pushing into ultra-expanded territory. The clean, stripped-down architecture adapts remarkably well across different project types: brand identity systems where visual consistency strengthens recognition, concert and gallery posters that benefit from bold visual impact, boutique product packaging with distinct personality, and editorial layouts where multiple related typographic sizes need to work in harmony. Because every variation follows the same underlying design logic, mixing weights and widths across a single project never feels forced or visually awkward.

This family suits designers building comprehensive brand systems or working on projects that genuinely demand typographic flexibility without arbitrary restrictions. If you're after a geometric sans with real structural range and surprising cohesion from its most condensed to most expanded versions, Design System F is available on Creative Fabrica.
