Design System D by Dharma Type is a geometric sans serif built for maximum flexibility across any creative medium. With 70 styles spanning five weights and seven widths in both upright and italic, it covers everything from condensed headlines to expansive display settings. The squared, no-nonsense letterforms carry a distinctive 70s sensibility without feeling nostalgic or overly decorative, making it equally at home in magazine editorial spreads, contemporary tech startup branding, retro-inspired poster work, or packaging systems for minimalist brands and boutique labels.

What makes this entire system genuinely useful is how thoughtfully each style relates to the others. You can layer different widths and weights across a single design, shift from roman to italic for emphasis, and everything holds visual cohesion because the underlying forms are so carefully considered. There's no awkwardness when mixing them together, no visual discord that breaks the unified feeling. Brand identity systems especially benefit from this versatility, since you can maintain one consistent typographic voice across headlines, subheads, captions, and body copy without ever feeling disconnected or incoherent.
