Based on comic book reniassance gentleman Dave Gibbons’ easy-on-the-eye hand lettering, this is the font Dave himself uses to letter projects such as STAR WARS: VADER’S QUEST, MARTHA WASHINGTON &  BATMAN: BLACK & WHITE.

As for why Dave wanted to call his font set “Gibbous”—he tells us it means “protuberant, rounded and bulging”,- much like his lettering, obviously. What were YOU thinking?
