Confitería by Sudtipos is a geometric connected script drawn from the rich tradition of Buenos Aires confectionery culture. The typeface channels the elegance of hand-piped cake lettering, with vertical proportions and balanced strokes that feel cultivated but never overwrought. If you've ever admired lettering on vintage sweet shop signage, this font captures that same refined quality in every letter.

The design emerged from Sol Matas' collaboration with Sudtipos, expanding on their previous work together on typeface refinement. What makes Confitería truly special is its versatility across specific contexts: wedding invitation suites gain romantic formality from its graceful letterforms, bakery menu cards get authentic craft appeal, luxury chocolate packaging conveys quality with restraint, and tea room branding captures that nostalgic, old-world charm. The font comes in several distinct weights, allowing you to create visual hierarchy and dynamic emphasis within a single typeface family.

Confitería speaks to anyone designing for brands built on tradition, handcraft, or heritage. The letterforms feel personal and warm without sacrificing professionalism or clarity. It's the kind of script that rewards closer inspection, with details that feel intentional and deliberately balanced. Find Confitería on Creative Fabrica and bring that Buenos Aires café atmosphere into your next project.
