There is a quiet sense of play in this one. Choso comes from Tunera Type Foundry, and it sits in the dingbats and pictograms camp rather than the usual text drawer. The main file is a Regular, and the family ships as two files, so you get more than one flavor to work with when a single symbol set starts to feel thin. Language support runs to 102 or more Latin-based languages, which matters more than you might expect for a picture font: labels, captions, and any Latin characters mixed into the set will hold up across European scripts instead of falling back mid-word.

Where it earns its keep is anywhere a small mark has to do the talking. Think wayfinding signage for a neighborhood gallery, spot symbols in a printed annual report, icon rows on trade show booth panels, or repeating motifs on small-batch packaging labels and hang tags. Dingbat faces like this also work as texture: set a line of them large, knock the opacity back, and you have a background pattern with no extra illustration work. Because the glyphs live inside a font file, they scale and recolor like type, which beats managing a folder of loose SVGs.
