You're working on a comic book cover or experimental zine, and the lettering needs to feel raw and intentional, not polished or derivative. Bryan Talbot, the font by Comicraft, draws directly from the hand-lettering of a legendary British graphic novelist whose work defined underground comix in the UK. Created for Bryan Talbot's ALICE IN SUNDERLAND, a genre-bending graphic novel that experiments with narrative form, this typeface carries the restless energy of someone who's spent decades pushing visual storytelling forward.

The font excels at indie comic covers, webcomic titles, experimental zine spreads, and underground press applications. Its irregular baseline and thick-and-thin stroke variation give it visual presence without relying on size alone. Readers recognize it as authentic hand-drawn work, not a generic sans or serif, which makes it particularly compelling for independent publications and small press work. The full character set includes everything you need for English text plus extended punctuation and accents for flexibility across projects.

The typeface maintains legibility even when sized large for cover treatment, a practical consideration many display fonts overlook. This matters when your lettering needs to work across multiple applications from comic panels to promotional posters. Get it from Creative Fabrica and add genuine artistic credibility to your independent or experimental work.
