You're creating embossed labels for a boutique tea importer or hand-lettering a sign for a vintage tattoo studio. Brotheric, designed by Burntilldead, is a blackletter font that brings ornamental tradition into contemporary editorial design while keeping legibility intact. Built on the structural foundation of classic gothic letterforms, it combines sharp angles and measured proportions to produce type that lands both authoritative and refined across any application.

Unlike purely ornamental blackletters, Brotheric remains coherent when set small and dominates with presence when enlarged. The letterforms preserve their intricate detail without sacrificing readability, making it suitable for everything from single display words to extended passages of body text. This balance between ornament and function is what distinguishes it from purely decorative typefaces. The design works beautifully for heritage branding campaigns, experiential music packaging, luxury skincare labels, editorial magazine spreads, and custom invitation suites for clients who value craft. Two variants provide flexibility depending on your project's needs: Regular offers measured elegance, while Inkbleed delivers weathered character for designs that benefit from visual texture and depth. Both variants come with a full set of alternates and complete multilingual support to serve projects across international markets. Find Brotheric on Creative Fabrica and start working with these distinctive letterforms.
