1 / 10About Brokolino Display Font
Brokolino is a modern and playful typefamily designed by Marco Battaglia. Its design is strongly influenced by humanist broad nib calligraphy and 1970’s popular type styles. The type family is composed of two parts: it features five text weights and three display weights with respective italics.
Display weights have a more fun and playful approach, suitable for brands, headlines or label design.
The italic is a true italic and it sport variable angles (from 11° to 14°) and a truly calligraphy feeling approach. The gradually retracting serifs and large x-height emphasize the influence of humanist letterforms in the lighter weights and provide a dense and consistent texture to the heavier weights.
The family features extended Latin support including the most necessary Opentype features, such as fun ligatures, alternates, swash and more!
